A Park Surprise

The Park bought some new horses to pull the surrey just recently. They are beautiful gals, but not as beautiful as the site we saw a few days ago~~

Now, I am not a cowgirl and evidently the animal curators are not cowboys because they did not even know she was pregnant. Freckles is a very good mom and the baby is doing great.

What a wonderful, unexpected blessing. You know how I take pictures of everything, so The Park Wife readers will get to see her grow up! If you have a name recommendation, I will pass it on to Big Buckaroo.

Spring has sprung!

Of course the name for something brown that brings you joy should be named Chocolate, although I know Big Buck & he ain't going for a food name. So glad you shared the pics. Keep 'em coming.

What a lovely little surprise she is. I'm not sure of a name, though. Do you suppose she'll white up like her momma?

How 'bout Treasure? That's a type of chocolate candy bar. What a way fun surprise though! So working on details of our next trip - the kids would love the baby!

Congrats! Does this make you a "horse grandma?"

I would love to see a picture of her face to suggest a name, but Treasure sounds good to me.

Is she all over dark color? Any spots of color? What kind of horse is Freckles? Is she a draft horse or regular horse? I can't tell from the photo.

I just KNOW those boys will love seeing her grow up. WOW!

That is sooo neat! My name suggestion is "Startle". And "Star" for short!
She certainly made for a startling addition to the Park!

Blessings.

They're beautiful! My first thought for a name was Shadow.
