The Hog and The Dog

The Fair is next week and Little Buckaroo is ready to show Tonto in the 4-H Pee Wee division. Tonto and Lucky the dog are still hanging out, or well, laying out a lot.

This is a common site in our yard.

" Oh, I am sorry, did I interrupt your nap? Forgive me, I would not want to deter any beauty sleep, I want Little Buckaroo to win a ribbon at the Fair, so sleep on little piggie!"

Now, I am not sure if I should be amused or disturbed by this pair. We have one wacky little mini-farm.

Have a great Labor Day Weekend!

You really needc to write a childrens book about those two! It would be great! :)

There are two of the my greatest joys in your picture. boxer dog and a pig. You know the pig has great meaning for me being a police officer (well retired!) And your boxer looks just like my Maddie who is now living in Texas with my best friends' family. She became a part of their lives when Cathy got breast cancer. She passed away a year ago the 6th of Sept. But Maddie was and continues to be a sourse of comfort for them. I miss her, but it was the right thing to do since I had four other boxers. (Don't go having puppies if you can't give them up!!!) I am a softie! I so love the pictures and the stories of your pig and dog, please, PLEASE continue to keep us updated on them.

Do you know how much JOY and HAPPINESS these 2 are bringing people? They are adorable. Let us know how your son does with the Fair. That sounds fun. Are you going to take the Pig's "dog" with her to be shown? That would be a novel idea. He would be her stablemate. I love those two!

We picked up a brochure on your "PARK" when we passed thru Ft. Smith Visitors' Center a week ago. Talk soon.
