My Bloomin' Life

I am here and fine. The gangster cowboys have not roped me and pulled me away from my computer. I have been busy with traveling to our property for 4 days, working on Farmers' Market launch in our town, and all the other things that rule my life ~ laundry, homeschooling, cooking, and oh, let's not forget Big Buckaroo (who had the flu and needed extra attention).

We have had some beautiful days here lately so I have thrown the Buckaroo's out the back door to have as much outside time as possible. However, when it gets quiet out back, I worry. This is what I found last week.....

"Mom, we have a surprise for you!!!!!"

Every Jonquil in the backyard. Not one was left. Thankfully, we have an enormous amount around here and the yard and pastures are covered with them again.

We were at our property for Valentine's Day (I know, very romantic), but Big Buckaroo made sure that there were special things for me to commemorate the day. And, look at the adorable messengers.
He did very well this Valentine's Day, making sure that he did special things just for me. Here are the beautiful tulips he got for me.

Thanks for all of your notes of concern for my absence, but I'm baaack!

I was a park wife for 30 years--quit my job to stay home with the rug rats, who are now 16 & 18. But I got my revenge--now I'm an interp ranger for NPS! One of these days I'm going to write my book, "A Day in the Life of the Ranger's Wife."

Glad you have time to blog--I rarely do! Nice to virtually meet you!

I just made a long post to you, but hit the WRONG button and lost it all. Frustrating! I will attempt to do a recap of what I wrote.

Welcome Back! Glad you had a great Valentine's Day, plus your surprise yellow flowers. WHEN is the big celebration day where the jonquils are featured? I remember that from last year. MAYBE we could visit the park then for this year's celebration.

I'm glad you are back. I've missed you, the updates and photos.
