Sleeping Tight, No Bed Bugs Here!

They save space, look good, and most of all, they are FUN!!!!!

The bunkbeds are finished and put together in the Buckaroo's room. Perfect timing since it has rained for a few days here and all they want to do is play in the bunkbeds.

I keep hearing Little Buckaroo say that he has the greatest dad in the whole world, and yes, he does. Big Buckaroo did a fabulous job on building the beds, they are just perfect!

How fun! I remember having bunk beds. My sister says I pushed her of the top bunk. I say she was just sitting to close to the edge and lost her balance. :)

Those beds look great! He did a good job. Are those bed covers the ones you made? I'm sure those boys are excited that their Daddy made those beds for them.

I grew up with bunk beds, too. They were OK with me. Before my sister left home to marry, we had the bunk beds and a single twin bed in a small bedroom. I was raised in a 2-bedroom home, so with 3 kids, we had one bedroom to fit in to. Tight and snug! But we lived through the experience. Everyone I knew had the same set-up. We didn't know any better back then in the 1950-60s.

I think the beds look great, but more than anything in the world is they were hand made with love from their daddy. Problem will be when they grow up who will get them? Better be thinking about making another set or those will have to stay with you forever!!! What a talented man you have there.

Those are really cool beds - easy to see why your boys love them! I'm sure your hubby is having trouble fitting through the doorways with all the pride of a job well done and his boys' praises!!!

Just think of the make believe games the boys can play on those beds! I think the covered wagon game was the favorite at our house among our five boys. They also liked to lay on the top bunk and look out the window and watch their friends playing outside. You see, I was a mean mommy who put her kids to bed at eight and the rest of the neighborhood ran around until all hours of the night!

Nice looking bunks!
